Where incidents affecting rentals, payments or the client area are posted, and how to tell an IP problem from a target problem.

**Quick answer — Is RackProxies working right now?**

RackProxies does not publish a live status monitor yet, and we do not publish uptime figures. When an incident affects rentals, payments or the client area, we post a dated note on this page. If one of your dedicated datacenter IPs fails, run the 4 checks below, then email support@rackproxies.com. RackProxies rents IPv4 per IP for 30 days, paid in crypto with no KYC.

## Which incidents have been posted?

| Date | Affected | Note |

## How do I tell whether the problem is the IP or the target?

Test the IP on its own first, so you can tell an IP problem apart from a credential, target or port problem.

1. **Plain request.** Send a request through the IP to `https://api.ipify.org`. If it returns the IP, the proxy works. The [quickstart](https://rackproxies.com/docs/quickstart/) has the command.
2. **Credentials.** A 407 response means the username or password is wrong, or your machine is not on your proxy allowlist. Username and password, or an IP allowlist (up to 10 IPs).
3. **Target.** If the plain request works but your target fails, the target may refuse datacenter IPs or rate-limit you. Blocked on every IP: Banking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587.
4. **End date.** Check the end date next to the IP in your account. Each rental lasts 30 days from delivery. Renew from your account before the end date; keeping the same IPs after a rental ends is not guaranteed.

## How do I report a problem?

Email support@rackproxies.com with the IP and port, the protocol, the target, the exact error and the time with your time zone. Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week.

If an IP does not work or is unusable for a lawful use, write to support: we fix it or replace it with an IP in the same country, subject to stock. The [refund policy](https://rackproxies.com/refunds/) says when the days lost on a rental are credited back.

## What do you post here during an incident?

During an incident that affects many customers, this page gets a dated note with:

- What is affected: rentals in one location, payments on one network, or the client area.
- When it started, in UTC.
- What customers can do in the meantime.
- When it ended, and any credit that applies under the [refund policy](https://rackproxies.com/refunds/).

One customer's IP problem is handled by email, not posted here. Changes to prices, policies or pages are recorded in the [changelog](https://rackproxies.com/changelog/).

## What if my payment is not credited?

A payment is credited once it is confirmed on the blockchain and matched by its exact amount. If it is not credited, check that you sent the exact amount on the network shown on the payment page, then email support@rackproxies.com with the coin, network, amount and transaction ID. The [crypto payments page](https://rackproxies.com/crypto-payments/) explains each step.
