**Quick answer — What is RackProxies?**

RackProxies is a dedicated datacenter proxy provider: IPv4 addresses rented per IP for 30 days, paid in crypto with no ID upload. This datacenter proxy FAQ answers the common questions: prices from $1.29 per IP, crypto payment with no KYC, locations in 22 countries, rules of use, privacy and refunds.

## What should I know before buying?

### How much do RackProxies datacenter proxies cost?

As of October 2026, prices per 30-day rental are $1.29 for 1 IP, $6.45 for 5, $12.69 for 10, $29.85 for 25, $33.75 for 50 and $59.25 for 100 ($0.59/IP). The price per IP never rises with quantity, and every country and city costs the same. See the [pricing page](https://rackproxies.com/pricing/).

### Is there a free trial?

No free trial: test with the 1-IP plan; when it costs less than the minimum top-up, the part added only to reach the minimum is refundable on request within 30 days, in USDT or USDC, if unspent. The 1-IP plan lets you test a location and a target before you buy a larger set.

### How many proxies do I need?

Usually fewer than you think: the polite request rate of each target sets the pace, not the number of addresses. Allowlists need two IPs, uptime checks one per region, geo tests one per country. The [how many proxies guide](https://rackproxies.com/guides/how-many-proxies-do-i-need/) works through the math with request rates.

### What is the difference between dedicated and shared proxies?

Dedicated: during your rental, each IP is assigned to your account only and is not shared with other RackProxies customers. A shared proxy is used by several customers at the same time, which makes it cheaper but less predictable. RackProxies sells dedicated IPs only. The [dedicated vs shared comparison](https://rackproxies.com/dedicated-vs-shared-proxies/) shows the trade-offs.

## How does payment work?

### Which cryptocurrencies can I pay with?

We accept BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC: USDT on TRC-20 or ERC-20, USDC on ERC-20. The top-up is the price of your plan, at least $25. Send the exact amount shown on the payment page, on the network shown, then click I've sent the payment. The [crypto payments page](https://rackproxies.com/crypto-payments/) explains each step.

### Do I need to verify my identity?

No KYC: no ID, no selfie, no documents to sign up, top up or buy. The service is built for buyers who prefer not to upload identity documents. Account-number login; email is optional, and you pay in crypto. The [no-KYC page](https://rackproxies.com/no-kyc/) explains what we keep and why.

### When is my payment credited?

Your payment is matched by its exact amount and credited once it is confirmed on the blockchain. The usual confirmation time depends on the coin and network, and is shown at checkout. If you started from a plan, it is bought once the top-up is credited, and the IPs are listed in your account.

### What happens to money left on my balance?

Unused balance stays on your account and never expires. When a purchase costs less than the minimum top-up, the part added only to reach the minimum is refundable on request to support within 30 days of the payment, in USDT or USDC, as long as it has not been spent. The rest of the balance is not paid back, except where the law requires it. You can use the balance for renewals or more IPs at any time.

## Which IPs and locations do I get?

### Which countries and cities are available?

RackProxies has pages for 22 [countries](https://rackproxies.com/countries/) and 34 [datacenter cities](https://rackproxies.com/cities/), from Ashburn and Frankfurt to Tokyo and São Paulo. Choose the country at checkout; a datacenter city can be requested where IPs are online in that city. Availability varies; the checkout shows what is online.

### Why does my IP show a different city?

Datacenter IPs are registered to hosting networks, not to home internet providers. IP geolocation databases can place the same IP in a different city, or even a different country, from the datacenter that announces it. Leased address blocks can keep an old location in a database until it is updated. The [geolocation guide](https://rackproxies.com/guides/datacenter-ip-geolocation/) explains how databases decide, and support can look at an IP that is placed in the wrong country.

### Do you sell IPv6 proxies?

IPv4 only. IPv6 proxies are not sold yet. Many websites still reach visitors over IPv4 only, so an IPv4 address reaches far more websites than an IPv6-only one. The [IPv6 vs IPv4 guide](https://rackproxies.com/guides/ipv6-vs-ipv4-proxies/) compares both, including price differences in the market.

### Which protocols and login methods are supported?

HTTP, HTTPS (CONNECT) and SOCKS5. Authentication: Username and password, or an IP allowlist (up to 10 IPs). Each IP is delivered as a line `IP:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD` in your account, exportable as TXT or CSV. The [connection format page](https://rackproxies.com/docs/connection-format/) explains each field, and the [quickstart](https://rackproxies.com/docs/quickstart/) has curl, Python and Node.js examples.

### Will my IPs come from different subnets?

An order of several IPs can include addresses from more than one /24 subnet, but no minimum number of subnets is promised. The [subnet diversity guide](https://rackproxies.com/guides/subnet-diversity/) explains why some users care about /24 spread and how to check it after delivery.

### Can I keep the same IPs next month?

Each rental lasts 30 days from delivery. Renew from your account before the end date; keeping the same IPs after a rental ends is not guaranteed. Renew a few days before the end date shown next to each IP. If an IP is on a partner's allowlist, keep a second IP as a backup.

## What can I use the proxies for?

### What are datacenter proxies used for?

Jobs that need a fixed, known IPv4 address: [price monitoring](https://rackproxies.com/use-cases/price-monitoring/) of public pages, [SEO checks](https://rackproxies.com/use-cases/seo-rank-tracking/) by country, [API allowlists](https://rackproxies.com/use-cases/allowlisted-api-access/), [uptime and latency checks](https://rackproxies.com/use-cases/uptime-and-latency-monitoring/) and [geo QA](https://rackproxies.com/use-cases/geo-qa-testing/) of your own sites. IP databases label them hosting, which is accurate.

### Do datacenter proxies work on every website?

No. Some websites treat hosting networks differently and refuse them or show a different page. We do not promise that any site accepts datacenter IPs. Test your target with 1 IP first, and read the [datacenter vs residential comparison](https://rackproxies.com/datacenter-vs-residential-proxies/) if a site needs home connections.

### Which sites and uses are blocked?

Blocked on every IP: Banking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587. Forbidden uses include fraud, spam, credential attacks, denial of service, unlawful collection of personal data, account takeover, ticket scalping and bonus abuse. The full list is in the [acceptable use policy](https://rackproxies.com/acceptable-use/).

### Is there a bandwidth limit?

Billed per IP for 30 days, not per GB, under a fair-use policy. We do not count GB on your plan and do not publish a speed figure. Use that harms the network or other customers can be limited under fair use. The [bandwidth guide](https://rackproxies.com/guides/datacenter-proxy-bandwidth/) compares how providers word their limits.

## What about my account and privacy?

### What data do you keep?

We do not log the content of your requests, full URLs or page data. For traffic that passes through our systems, we keep connection metadata (time, account, exit IP, target hostname, bytes) for up to 30 days to handle abuse reports and billing disputes, then delete it. We keep your account number, orders, top-up records and rental history while your account is open, and afterwards only as long as accounting rules require. We disclose records to authorities only when the law requires it. Our upstream network provider may keep its own logs under its own policy. The [privacy policy](https://rackproxies.com/privacy/) has the full detail.

### What if I lose my account number?

Your account number is your login: save it somewhere safe. Add an email (optional) if you want a way to recover it. Without an email, a lost account number cannot be recovered. We never ask for your account number by email or chat, so never send it to anyone who asks for it in a message you did not start.

## What if something goes wrong?

### What is the refund policy?

Dedicated datacenter IPs: within 24 hours of delivery, a rental is credited back to your balance in full if its IPs do not work and we cannot fix or replace them. A rental we cannot deliver within 24 hours is credited back in full. If an IP stops working later and support cannot fix or replace it within 24 hours, the lost days are credited back. Top-ups are not paid back, except where the law requires it; the part added only to reach the minimum top-up is refundable on request within 30 days, in USDT or USDC, if unspent. Examples are on the [refunds page](https://rackproxies.com/refunds/).

### What if an IP stops working?

If an IP does not work or is unusable for a lawful use, write to support: we fix it or replace it with an IP in the same country, subject to stock. Email support@rackproxies.com with the IP, the target and the error. Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week. The [status page](https://rackproxies.com/status/) shows how to tell an IP problem from a target problem first.
