Everything you need between buying an IP and sending your first request through it, in three pages.

**Quick answer — Where is the RackProxies datacenter proxy documentation?**

The **RackProxies** datacenter proxy docs have 3 pages: a quickstart that tests an IP with curl over HTTP and SOCKS5, the `IP:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD` connection format, and code examples for Python, Node.js and Playwright. Every IP is a dedicated IPv4 rented for 30 days, from $1.29, paid in crypto with no KYC.

## Connection facts for every IP

| Attribute | Value |
| --- | --- |
| Delivery | Each IP is delivered as a line `IP:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD` in your account, exportable as TXT or CSV |
| Protocols | HTTP, HTTPS (CONNECT) and SOCKS5 |
| Authentication | Username and password, or an IP allowlist (up to 10 IPs) |
| IP version | IPv4 only. IPv6 proxies are not sold yet |
| Rental | Each rental lasts 30 days from delivery. Renew from your account before the end date; keeping the same IPs after a rental ends is not guaranteed |
| Blocked on every IP | Banking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587 |
| Support | Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week; support@rackproxies.com |

## Which page do I need?

- **[Quickstart](https://rackproxies.com/docs/quickstart/)** — Top up, buy a plan, find your IPs, then test them with one curl command over HTTP and one over SOCKS5. Includes the allowlist and a table of common errors (407, refused, timeout).
- **[Connection format](https://rackproxies.com/docs/connection-format/)** — The four fields of each line, how to turn a line into a proxy URL, how to URL-encode a password, and what the TXT and CSV exports contain.
- **[Code examples](https://rackproxies.com/docs/code-examples/)** — curl, Python requests (HTTP and SOCKS5), aiohttp, Node.js with undici or proxy agents, and Playwright, plus a latency test.

## What is the fastest way to test a new IP?

Run one curl command with the first line of your list. If it prints the proxy's IP, the proxy works:

`curl -x http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@203.0.113.24:8000 https://api.ipify.org`

Replace the documentation address `203.0.113.24`, the port and the credentials with yours. For SOCKS5, change the scheme to `socks5h://`. If you get `407 Proxy Authentication Required`, check the password and URL-encode its special characters; the [quickstart](https://rackproxies.com/docs/quickstart/) lists the other errors and their causes.

## How do the docs relate to the guides?

The docs tell you how to connect; the [guides](https://rackproxies.com/guides/) explain why things work the way they do. If a connection works but the result surprises you, a guide usually has the answer:

- The IP shows the wrong city: [datacenter IP geolocation](https://rackproxies.com/guides/datacenter-ip-geolocation/).
- You are unsure whether to use SOCKS5 or HTTP: [SOCKS5 vs HTTP proxy](https://rackproxies.com/guides/socks5-vs-http-proxies/).
- You want to spread jobs across your IPs: [rotating vs static datacenter proxies](https://rackproxies.com/guides/rotating-vs-static-datacenter-proxies/).
- You want to know how a site sees the IP: [datacenter IP check](https://rackproxies.com/guides/check-a-datacenter-ip/).
- You are deciding how many IPs to buy: [how many proxies do I need](https://rackproxies.com/guides/how-many-proxies-do-i-need/).

## Where do I find my IP list?

In your account, once the plan is bought from your confirmed balance. After the plan is bought from your confirmed balance, the IPs are allocated and listed in your account with their country, port and end date. If we cannot deliver a rental within 24 hours, its full price goes back to your balance. You can copy the lines or export them as TXT or CSV. The CSV export contains at least IP, port, username, password, country and end date, which is enough for most inventory scripts. The [connection format](https://rackproxies.com/docs/connection-format/) page has converters in Python and Node.js for the TXT export.

## Documentation questions

### Which page should I read first?

Read the [quickstart](https://rackproxies.com/docs/quickstart/). It takes you from top-up to a working test and lists the errors you are most likely to see. Come back to the [connection format](https://rackproxies.com/docs/connection-format/) when a tool wants a URL or separate fields, and to the [code examples](https://rackproxies.com/docs/code-examples/) when you write your own client.

### Do the examples use real IP addresses?

No. They use addresses from the documentation ranges of RFC 5737, mainly 203.0.113.0/24, and the placeholders USERNAME and PASSWORD. Your real IPs, ports and credentials are listed in your account after delivery. Test endpoints are api.ipify.org, httpbin.org/ip and example.com, which are public services built for testing.

### Which languages do the code examples cover?

curl on the command line, Python with requests and aiohttp, Node.js with undici, https-proxy-agent and socks-proxy-agent, and Playwright for a real browser. Each Python sample passes `py_compile` and each JavaScript sample passes `node --check`. Any other language that accepts an HTTP or SOCKS5 proxy URL works the same way.

### Who do I contact when a test fails?

Write to support@rackproxies.com with the IP, the exact command and the output of `curl -v`, but never your password. Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week. If an IP does not work or is unusable for a lawful use, write to support: we fix it or replace it with an IP in the same country, subject to stock.

### Can I read the docs before paying?

Yes, every page is public. When you are ready, plans start at $1.29 for one IP for 30 days; see [pricing](https://rackproxies.com/pricing/). No KYC: no ID, no selfie, no documents to sign up, top up or buy. You pay in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC.

**Ready to test an IP?** 1 IP for $1.29. No KYC, paid in crypto. [See pricing](https://rackproxies.com/pricing/) · [Quickstart](https://rackproxies.com/docs/quickstart/)
